LARA-TECH LIMITED, a fast paced private technology company, requires a full-time network support technician for servicing clients in the Ottawa area. This position requires an individual that projects an image of excellence, expertise and confidence. This individual must be self-motivated, well organized and focused.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Server OS, 2012-2025, Datacentre/Standard
  • Proficient with Routers (Sonicwall, Cisco, Fortinet), NAS devices (Synology, QNAP), Wireless APs (Ubiquiti, Aruba)
  • Create and maintain backup plans (Acronis, Veeam, Cloud)
  • Perform onsite/remote service and support to clients
  • Setup and support desktops, laptops PC/MAC (Windows 7-11, OSX)
  • Mobile support for IPhone and Android
  • Proficient with AD – GPO  Management
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 deployments
  • Proficient with Azure, Teams, Teams Phone
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Desktop/Cloud (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook)
  • Must have good communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Must have strong analytical capability
  • Must be able to work independently

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 year college diploma, in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years related experience
