LARA-TECH LIMITED, a fast paced private technology company, requires a full-time network support technician for servicing clients in the Ottawa area. This position requires an individual that projects an image of excellence, expertise and confidence. This individual must be self-motivated, well organized and focused.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Server OS, 2012-2025, Datacentre/Standard
- Proficient with Routers (Sonicwall, Cisco, Fortinet), NAS devices (Synology, QNAP), Wireless APs (Ubiquiti, Aruba)
- Create and maintain backup plans (Acronis, Veeam, Cloud)
- Perform onsite/remote service and support to clients
- Setup and support desktops, laptops PC/MAC (Windows 7-11, OSX)
- Mobile support for IPhone and Android
- Proficient with AD – GPO Management
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 deployments
- Proficient with Azure, Teams, Teams Phone
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Desktop/Cloud (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook)
- Must have good communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Must have strong analytical capability
- Must be able to work independently
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- 3 year college diploma, in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 7 years related experience

- Valid Driver’s license and vehicle
